PREFERRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a degree/HND or equivalent, in an Architectural/Construction/Surveying/Quantity Surveying/CAD related subject.
• Needs to be fully proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Must have excellent work ethic, highly self-motivated, efficient and have good negotiation skills.
• Must be competent with figures, construction plans, and capability of dealing with phone calls and site attendance meetings.
• Experience in Logikal or other similar related software package.

SALARY: Negotiable with experience. Good salary for the right candidate.

General Summary:

You will be joining a highly reputable leading Architectural Glazing Manufacturer of Curtain Walling, Windows and Doors. We install Architectural Glazing Facades and currently have a number of large commercial projects across Ireland and the UK. Our job vacancy is at our head office in Benburb Co Tyrone, located between Dungannon and Armagh.

We have a highly motivated team comprising of Contracts Managers, Draftsmen and Estimators. Your new role will involve liaising with Architects, Quantity Surveyors and other Construction Personnel in relation to enquiries, design details, clarifications and variations etc. in the form of phone calls, emails and on occasion some formal face to face meetings. It will comprise of thorough analysis of projects with need to provide comprehensive quotations with help of a junior estimator. It will also involve other day to day estimating responsibilities within our commercial division. This will be a responsible role that will require attention to detail and accuracy, and often a need to report back on summary figures.
